Century Hummingbird 3DPRO
4-17-2007 I am still very limited on machine time but I do have Kit's in stock at the moment. I will try to stay up on the website. I am running very low on the landing struts.
I greatly appreciate the support. Keep the Hummingbird alive !
Belt Drive Conversion for the Century Hummingbird 3D Pro. Belt Drive Conversion - Complete Kit
A bolt on kit to convert the stock gear driven tail system to Belt Drive. Includes Boom Adapter with pulleys, 48 tooth pulley, 10 tooth pulley, Tail Box, Belt. Uses the stock HB boom, servo mount, fins, tail blades and slider system. If using the MH Aluminum Tailbox - It will require some
modifications as the belt will not fit though the Tailbox.
New design tail pulley not shown, now with only one flange. HP-BCP10 - 10 Tooth Tail Pulley - $6.00 each I am in the process of updating some of the items
and pictures. Tail Pulley - 10 tooth
New design main pulley, injection molded one pc not shown Main Pulley - Replaces the Crown gear with the new front pulley. Just remove the crown gear pin, slide off the gear and replace with the pulley and adapter, uses the same stock pin as the crown gear. Bolt On Replacement.
380 tooth Belt - Used with the Stock HB boom.
Conversion Boom Adapter - This replaces the rear frame support and guides the belt into the boom. No cutting required, and includes a spot for the Gyro to mount. Includes Idler pulley and spacers for the bearings.
New lighter version shown Tail Box - Heavy Duty tailbox for the
tail, holds the tail pulley inplace. Uses all stock tail parts. Uses Stock
bearings NOT Included. We have started shipping
a new version of the Tailbox that I am injection molding, it is the same
design and stong just easier to produce. It does look better with
rounder corners. Now shipping with 4 aluminum spacers that hold the idler bearings centered. I will send out these spacers to previous owners per request. It appears this helps some people and others don't need the spacers. Much of this is due to slight alignment issues on the boom mount, if it's slightly raised the belt will run at the top of the pulleys and same for downwards. Here is part of an Email response I received in regards to the spacers.
